Some in-apartment assistance for special needs may also be available for an extra fee.
Assisted Living
For the individual who is partially independent, but requires a little asistance in case help is needed. IN ADDITION TO THOSE SERVICES LISTED FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING, ASSISTED LIVING RESIDENTS ALSO GET:
- Assistance in bathing/toileting
- Assistance in dressing and grooming
- Assistance in getting to and from meals
- On-site presence of a licensed nurse on a daily basis
- Nutritious snacks
- Supervision of medication
- Scheduled transportation to appointments and other community locations
- Weekly light housekeeping including laundering of sheets and towels
- Special Activities
- Coordination of on-site assistance with recommendations of therapists or physician
Assisted Living Rates are based on the amount of assistance required. Private practice physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and psychology services, and home health agency services at an additional fee that may be covered by Medicare or private insurance.
