Memory Difficulty

Summit View is part of a growing, progressive movement that has found those with memory impairment function much better, integrated into a normal, protected environment where they have appropriate role models, good verbal interaction, and an easy to manage routine. Staff throughout the building are trained to cue and redirect residents, as needed. "Sunshine Clubs" are a special program that uses music and social activities to stimulate verbalization and problem solving and to help retain social skills.
